Participatory Management Initiative for Development (PMID) is a multi-disciplinary consultancy service provider in the development sector with extensive working experience for more than fifteen (15) years in planning, management, implementation study, survey, review and assessment, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building and communication material development of various multi-disciplinary development projects in both hardware and software issues in rural and urban context including City Corporation, Upazila Parishad, Pourashava, Union Parishad and community level. It promotes sustainable development in a participatory manner through providing technical service and assistance, which endeavors to bring about socio-economic betterment of the urban and rural people.

PMID aims to build a programming approach and strategy designed to achieve optimum utilization of resources and to strengthen the planning and operational capacities of the stakeholders. It provides cost-effective services ensuring quality through expertise within the stipulated time frame. Since its inception in 2000, PMID has been striving to bring a unique perspective and understanding to the issues faced by a developing nation like Bangladesh.
